We went to San Diego after packing up all our crap, the kids, a couple sandwiches, sodas and some sliced watermelon. Ty fell asleep on the way and Trevor was mostly unnoticeable except for the occasional grunt and then some fussing for a bottle once we got there. It was too warm for my liking and I spent quite a bit of time sweatin it up until about the time we left around 8pm.
Right off the bat, we let Ty walk. We headed over to the Kids Discovery area. We visited the meercats, otters, pigeons and things before making our way around to the elephants. Ty really loves animals.
This was our 3rd visit
since the new Elephant Odessey exhibilt has been completed. It is very
nice. Well worth all the millions it spent to build it. The elephants
always seem drugged to me... very mellow. Ty loved going in the little
caves and playing on the walkway to the elephants. I'll try to post a
couple pictures here or check them out on my facebook page.
